The flight model is developed by a highly standard aircraft model designer, so the exterior visual model is highly detailed and super smooth with sweet frame rates. Accurate wing root section and wing profiles are also included. Precision of fuselage, nose and cockpit windows also give you an excellent proportion of views from the virtual cockpit.

FS2004 // FSX First Class Simulations: HURRICANE - Retail (Installer)
Starting his design in 1934, Sir Sidney Camm’s Hawker Hurricane held the distinction of being the first monoplane to enter service with the Royal Air Force. Unlike its Second World War counterpart the Spitfire which was an entirely new concept based on specialised experience, the Hawker Hurricane was the logical outcome of a long line of fighting aircraft. The Spitfire was the studied application of experience; the Hurricane was a stroke of genius!
The Hurricane’s maiden flight was made from Hawker's establishment within the confines of the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit at Weybridge in Surrey on November 6, 1935. A mere five years later, the Hurricane would be instrumental in enabling the Royal Air Force to win the Battle of Britain during the summer of 1940 and easily accounting for the majority of the RAF’s air victories. In all, by the end of 1944, over 14,000 Hurricanes had been built including around 1200 converted to Sea Hurricanes. The aircraft also served in every major theatre of the Second World War.
As featured in this package, the first Hurricane Mk II flew on June 11, 1940 and utilised a Merlin XX engine with a two stage supercharger for improved performance at altitude. Later versions had reinforced fuselages in order to accommodate a new wing which had universal attachment points for drop tanks, bombs or other under wing stores. The Mk IIB arrived in late 1940 with four additional Browning .303 machine guns, bringing total armament to twelve guns. The Mk IIC which was introduced in 1941 replaced all of the machine guns with four 20mm Hispano cannons. The advent of the MK IV saw the last major change to the Hurricane which was to rationalise the wing, configuring it with a single design able to mount two bombs, two 40-mm Vickers S guns or eight 60 pounder RP-3 rockets. The new design also incorporated the newly improved Merlin 24 or 27 engines equipped with dust filters for desert operations.

The Bristol Beaufort, a classic twin-engine bomber of the WWII era, had its beginnings with the design of the Type 142 Blenheim and Type 149 Bolingbroke. These were conceived as early as 1934, with the initial specification for the Beaufort coming about in late 1935. Known as the Type 152, the Beaufort was intended as a torpedo bomber and general reconnaissance aircraft. The first contracts were placed in 1936, however, the prototype did not fly until 1938 and squadrons were not equipped with the type until 1940. Gee Bee Super Sportster ! The unmistakable Granville Brothers creation is an icon of the pre-war era, both famous for its success and infamous for killing its pilots.
The AlphaSim package provides both Super Sportster variants - the R1 and the more powerful R2. Both FS9 and FSX versions are fully featured with AlphaSim RealGauge tech, high-gloss reflective textures, sounds by TSS and accurate flight dynamics. The Gee Bees were only awkward to fly on take-off and landing, in the air they were really outstanding and the two seperate flight models reflect this. The detailed virtual cockpit has full 'systems modelling', all the necessary startup/fuel components are modelled in 3D and are of course mousable, including a hand-held radio. As usual, the FSX model is the best way to enjoy this package - the textures are incredible in their 2048-pixel resolution, the smallest text is crisp and legible. Of course self-shadowing and (minimal) bump-mapping are there, and SP2/DX10 users get the added benefit of cockpit self-shadowing too ! For those who have not yet experienced our awesome Rutan 61, the AlphaSim RealGauge technology provides instruments fully modelled in 3D, faces, needles and other components are part of the 3D aircraft model and not simply stuck-on bitmaps. The result is amazingly high FPS and super-smooth operation. The pilot figure is realisitically modelled and animated with stick and rudder pedal movements in the exterior model. A 27-page user manual in .PDF format in included. So - enjoy the thrills of seat-of-the-pants classic racing and also the challenge of taking off and landing the mighty GeeBee with this outstanding addon ! For FSX (SP1, SP2/Accel) and FS2004 only.

This package contains 3 versions of the X-15A-2 with external propellant tanks and the mighty XLR-99 rocket engine.
The X-15A-2 (serial number AF56-6671), was a modified version of the X-15 rocket plane, specifically designed to allow longer engine burn times and to attain hypersonic velocities in the range of 8000 feet per second at an altitude of 100,000 feet. The main modifications were the addition of a 29-inch fuselage section to the center of gravity compartment and two large aluminum external propellant tanks which can be jettisoned and reused. The added propellant permits alonger engine run which results in added velocity.
After the X-15-2 aircraft was damaged in 1962, it was rebuilt as the "advanced" X-15A-2 and was delivered to Edwards Air Force Base in February 1964. In October 1967, Air Force Pilot Pete Knight took the X-15A-2 to Mach 6.7 (4520 mph), the fastest manned aircraft flight recorded to date (if we exclude the Space Shuttle). The X-15A-2 completed 22 flights between June 1964 and October 1967.

The E-170 family is the smaller of the two, competing with regional aircraft such as the Bombardier CRJ-700/900, Bombardier Q400 and the Sukhoi Superjet 100. It also replaces older aircraft such as the BAe-146 and Fokker 70. The 170 and 175 are powered with GE CF34-8E engines of 13,800 pounds (61.39 kN) thrust each.
The Embraer 170 was the first version produced. The prototype was rolled out on 29 October 2001, with first flight 119 days later on February 19. The aircraft was displayed to the public in May 2002 at the Regional Airline Association convention. After a positive response from the airline community, Embraer proceeded with the launch of the stretched E-175 in June 2003. "Smugglers of the Caribbean - Cabo Key" is an add-on package set in the Caribbean on a small uncharted island just north of Havana. It is part 1 of a multi part series of add-on aircraft & scenery packages which will all be set in the greater Caribbean Area and will all tie in with each other. For us it was important to provide a full simming add-on “package” to MSFS2004 rather than merely a scenery or an aircraft. Our package includes a rideable ground vehicle, a boat and an aircraft and of course scenery and something to do. If any aircraft is associated with the Golden Age of Aviation, it is the Pitcairn PCA-2 Autogiro, dubbed the safest aircraft ever made. In 1929, aircraft designer Harold F. Pitcairn purchased the U.S. rights to copy Cierva’s invention and he started building his own autogiros in Pennsylvania. One of his first successful designs was the PCA-2 Autogiro. Only two PCA-2 Autogiros exist today – one on static display in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, and Steve Pitcairn’s flying “Miss Champion.” “Miss Champion” came off the line at the Pitcairn Aircraft Company in June 1931. The type was very much in the public eye, as two months earlier Amelia Earhart had flown one to an altitude record of 18,415 feet on April 8, 1931, and Pitcairn test pilot Jim Ray landed one on the White House lawn on April 22.

The Beechcraft Model 18 is one of the most famous small twin aircraft. It is typical Beech aircraft, smooth, fast and efficient, but it is NOT easy to fly and needs a solid hand on the many controls. The aircraft in FS2004 we can deliver to you comes in many models and liveries. Wheels and floats, civil and military, our Beech covers all of them. The systems installed are typical of the aircraft, a mix of old and modern (but not too modern) that will make sure you can find your way in bad weather and in the most busy airport environment. All the radio and navigation instruments are done to great detail and we even included a 'in flight entertainment' system that will allow you to play all your MP3 files from the cockpit. Martha's Vineyard is an island of the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It has a reputation of being a place where the politicians of Washington relax and get into trouble. Senator Edward Kennedy was involved in an accident that killed somebody. In a freak coincidence almost exactly 30 years later another Kennedy (John F.) was involved in an aircraft accident that killed him, his wife and a 3rd person. On a brighter note, Spielberg filmed 'Jaws' (and parts of 'Jaws 2' and 'Jaws The Revenge') on the island.
The scenery we have created is based on quite good aerial images and a terrain mesh that we worked into scenery that will form a superb base for you flights with the Twin Beech. Special winter and night textures and a slew of special objects make the island come to life. Because it is not possible to do all buildings manually, we spend a long time getting the AutoGen objects correct and you'll find it very dense. Of course there are many small and large ships, cars and other objects. At night you'll be able to find the airport using the lighthouses. Three airports are waiting for you. Our personal favorite is that you can taxi from Katana Airport to the beech and spend the day there in the shade of the wings of your own aircraft. That's cool.

A jetliner FMC style navigation system collection.
This FMC pack contains seven FMC gauges, all of them working in a very similar way imitating the look of Boeing or Airbus FMCs. Four of them are intended to be used with B737-400, B777-300, B747-400 and A321 aircraft. The other four gauges are general purpose FMC gauges and they don’t content specific aircraft data pages as APPROACH, IDENT, TAKE OFF... so they can be used with ANY aircraft.
The purpose of these gauges is to implement the FMC style you can find in many of modern jetliners or business jets, using the flight plans created with Microsoft Flight Simulator FS9 or FSX, or any add-on which can export flight plans in the FS format. We have eliminated the complex way in what you have to plan your flight in current commercial FMCs implemented in some of the commercial airliners existing for Microsoft Flight Simulator but keeping the feeling of a real FMC-CDU.
They are general purpose FMC and, in fact they can be used with ANY aircraft, though its normal use will be airliners or busines jets. But a little Cessna 172 will follow the programmed VNAV in the same way than an Airbus 380, with the normal limitations due to differences between both types of aircraft.

There was an error (serial number) or two in the original upload and since I'm trying to reconstruct this from memory and the original files, please let me know ASAP if you have any problems and I will get them fixed. I don't think you will though. Be sure to download and use the CORRECTED serial number for part seven as the included one in the .rar file is wrong.Just place all three part 7 files in a folder plus the new serial and then unrar parts 1,2 and 3 all together, then unrar the new serial. FS2004 AS EE Lightning Complete (Reloaded)
The English Electric Lightning was the only all British Mach 2 aircraft to be used by the RAF. It served between 1960 and 1986. The Lightning was designed to intercept high level intruders. Consequently it had a high rate of acceleration and climb performance. It could exceed Mach 1 at sea level and Mach 2 at 36,000 feet. Time to 40,000 feet was two and a half minutes. Normal operating ceiling was 50,000 feet, although the aircraft could be zoom climbed to almost 90,000 feet. In practice most high flying targets were intercepted at 40,000 feet plus, although the friendly U-2 could be found at 70,000 feet!. At the time of its introduction into service, it represented a huge step forward in performance. To quote a pilot at the time -

FSX FLIGHT REPLICAS: AVIA S-199 (Rereloaded)
In 1945, following World War II, Czechoslovakia, which had been the location of several Messerschmitt Bf-109 manufacturing plants, found itself with a substantial stock of unused Bf-109 components. In need of an air force, Czechoslovakia decided to use this stockpile to build it's own fighter aircraft, which is christened the Avia S-199. Initially built purely from existing parts stocks, the aircraft gradually evolved into something unique. For example, when engine DB605 engine stocks ran out, the Jumo 211F was used, changing the aircraft's appearance substantially.
Aside from the visible engine change, the most notable external differences between the original Bf-109G and the final S-199 were gear axles that made the main gear wheels vertical when on the ground, and the sliding canopy. The cockpit was altered here and there, the most noticible elements there being the replacement of the gun cover with a baggage compartment, the inclusion of a VSI, and new Revi gunsight mount and gun round counter.
Later types also used the second fuselage tank, formerly for the MW boost, as a second fuel tank, giving better range. Drop tanks were normally only for reconnaissance versions.
The Israeli version from 1948 represents an intermediate type, still with the old Erla canopy and canted main gear wheels, along with the external oil cooler radiator under the engine. This model also features the ETC50 bomb rack.
The S-199 was the backbone of the Czech fighter force until 1957. That makes 22 years of use from Willy Messerschmitt's basic 109 airframe design - not bad! The Hispano Aviacion HA-1112 K.1.L Tripala and Hispano Aviación HA-1112 M.1.L Buchon, the Spanish-built variants, were retired in 1955, so the Avia S-199 marks the final stop in the career of a famous aircraft type. It was replaced by the Mig-15.
The S-199 was well known for it's immensely strong torque on take-off and bad tendency to swing on landing, giving it a highly unfavorable reputation. However, an Israeli pilot stated that despite its bad ground habits, the S-199 in 1948 would climb and dive better than the P-51 Mustang and Spitfire, and could out-turn the Mustang.
Four Models:
1. S-99: Assembled directly from Bf-109G-14 parts, with DB605AS engine, but with some cockpit modifications; 2. S-199: Early version with Jumo 211F engine, Erla canopy and under-engine oil cooler radiator; 3. S-199: Standard production, Jumo 211F engine, bubble canopy on rails, new engine oil heat exchanger (no visible radiator), and modified wheel axles (wheels now fully vertical); 4. S-199: Final version (as above, with small differences, such as engine hand crank on rear cockpit bulkhead)

BACKGROUND
The F-117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter Attack Aircraft was developed by Lockheed Martin following work on stealth technology carried out in secret from 1975. Development of the F-117A began in 1978 and first flew in 1981. It was not until 1988 that its existence was publicly announced. The Nighthawk is the world's first operational stealth aircraft. The purpose of the aircraft is to penetrate dense threat environments and attack high value targets with high accuracy. F-117’s were in operational service during Operation Desert Storm.
WEAPONS
Model fitted with The Guided Bomb Unit-27 (GBU-27)The aircraft can carry a range of tactical fighter ordnance in the weapons bay, including BLU-109B low level laser guided bomb, GBU-10 and GBU-27 laser guided bomb units, Raytheon AGM-65 Maverick and Raytheon AGM-88 HARM air-to-surface missiles.
GENERAL FS2004 MODEL DETAILS
1. Accurate 3D model.2. Flight Dynamics based on over 50 hours in the real flight simulator3. Five texture sets are available showing the latest livery, and includes the famous US flag scheme. Correct pilot arm badges according to unit.4. All external markings and badges are based on the actual current aircraft and are all readable.5. The airframe surface has been given a realistic reflective sheen. The finish has a mottled effect to model the RAM (radar-absorbent material) coating.6. The 'teeth' components around the canopy have been 3D modelled and not textured.7. The canopy glass has a gold coloured finish to represent the gold film applied to the glass.8. Authentic ‘nose art’ painted on the port bomb bay door as seen during Operation Desert Storm. They have since been removed from the real aircraft, but are included in this model as ‘the legends live on’.9. Rotating 3D wheels, full suspension, steering, gear locks and gear door connection rods. Main wheel ventilation holes showing brake texture behind. Gear modelled to real aircraft components producing authentic mechanism with correct animations. In10. VC view, transparent plastic gear knob with integral light illuminating red during gear transit.11. Animated flight control surfaces including split differential working elevons and all moving V configuration rudders.12. Opening canopy (rate varies with lift). As the canopy opens in VC and spot views, the panel/gauge shade flaps fold forward. The hydraulic lifting struts are animated. ‘Frame’ disappears in 2D view with canopy open13. The bomb doors open and the armament 'swings' down in a realistic manner. Only the doors open in flight, and fully extend on the ground as the real aircraft. Bomb bay spoilers added with turbulence inducing holes. All doors have hinges and door rams.14. The radio antennas extend or retract according to the radio operation. 2on top, 2 below and a dipole type behind the cockpit.15. The black drag chute can be set to open automatically on landing. This occurs when the chute handle is turned through 90° and the nose wheel rotates on ground contact. The chute is technically recognized by FS2004 as flaps and drag is generated to assist with speed reduction. The chute is deployed at around 80 knots and jettisoned at around 30 knots. The chute automatically resets and repacks into its locker. The repacking process has been hidden so the observer will not see an unrealistic reversal of the chute's operation. Chute cords tie down to one attachment cord (as real aircraft), with single cord through rudders to stop fouling of chute cords with rudders16. The IRADS (the radar spheres in front of the canopy and under the aircraft, forward starboard side) animate to keep on target.17. The engine blow-in doors on top of the engine fairings open automatically for speeds below 160 knots. These assist for low speed flying and maneuvers (i.e. taxi speeds) because the engine grills are a restriction at these conditions.18. Refueling port revolves to open and is illuminated. Fuel levels auto set back to 100%. The ice-lights on the engine intake grills also illuminate with the refuel port.19. Navigation lights hard coded. Flashing beacon light with rotation effect reflections.20. Gear lights with reflections. Landing and taxi lights with reflective lenses. All three lights illuminate when switched to 'Landing' and front gear only when switched to 'Taxi'21. The panel was painstakingly researched and is as true a representation as possible.22. 3D VC panel. Elements including 3D AP assembly (includes Spatial Disorientation button). AP and HUD frame have authentic positioning.23. All gauges were purpose built for this aircraft using the FS2004 coding, XML.24. The vast majority of the switches, buttons and controls are functional. In cases where the control functions were unknown or not supported by FS2004, realistic alternatives were employed. Note that little information is available for the F-11725. panel. However, all the regular analogue gauges that can be seen on released photographs have normal operation and allow full functionality with FS2004.26. PFD and MFD completely reworked to the latest gauge specification and colours. PFD contains an additional page displaying a nearest airport table. When scrolled the appropriate frequency table is generated for ease of obtaining radio information,27. including ILS frequency. This was introduced to provide a simple method of obtaining required frequencies, and simpler to use than the default GPS gauge or default map view. Weapon type is shown on the PFD.28. The gauges are self illuminated by using the panel light switch only, including the HUD (2 glass pieces with illuminating HUD projector lenses) with transparent background and bright detail illumination (also with night dimming), and do not rely29. on a general background light. Cockpit lighting is available. In the 2D view, the CRT gauges can be switched between 'bright' and 'green luminous'. All gauges have high quality graphics and can all be zoomed to improve their reading. Lighting colours30. (including the blue CRT buttons) are to the current aircraft specification.31. Target panel gauge shows ‘camera’ views in 2D view. In VC view shows FLIR views. All views in this gauge are now green with panel light switch on.32. Adjustable Head Latency gauge introduced for VC view. Added head turn switching for taxi speeds.33. Pilot fully animated for joystick, throttles and head. The head appears to move the 'wrong' way. When climbing the head looks down, or turning looks the other way. This is because the pilot is keeping his eye on the target. Correct barrel style throttle34. controls with drag and lock available in the VC view.35. Rudder pedal mechanism added behind radio panel and can be viewed through the pedal cut-out areas.36. Recessed canopy handle on cockpit side. Manual canopy manual handle rotates when engine 1 speed is near or at zero (that is, the engine is off).37. The ejection seat is fully labeled. These labels are readable, especially in the virtual cockpit view.38. Engine exhaust shimmer and smoke turn on according to engines speed. Smoke effects can be turned off on the panel.39. With the engines off and the parking brake on, ground services appear, being Mj-1 bomb truck with illuminating spot light (cabin light switch), pilot goes walkabout, heat seek and fin boxes, pilots steps, chocks and 'remove' tapes that move in the40. breeze. The elevons sink down and the rudders 'hang' (spread to align with the aircrafts fore/aft axis) due to zero hydraulic pressure and move with reducing engine speed.41. Wing vortex and wing vapour according to G force.42. Wheel spray if raining or snowing.43. Runway tyre marks have been customized for this aircraft.44. Full Stereo Sound set included.45. Fly with or without the virtual cockpit to suit computer specification.
NOTE: There are no spoilers or flaps on this or the real world aircraft. Please read the included documentation for full details on the aircraft and panel operation. This aircraft can be flown 'simply' or use most of the functions available to FS2004.
MODEL TECHNICAL DETAILS
All gauges were produced using XML. FSUIPC, a popular add-on, is not required. If FSUIPC is installed, it will not interfere with this aircraft’s operation.Frame rates were enhanced by a low polygon count when building the airframe. This can be seen in the size of the mdl file. At under 2 MB, this is typically smaller thancompetitor’s aircraft of similar complexity. This was achieved partially by the design concept of the F-117. The airframe is a collection of flat surfaces. Therefore themodel was constructed using a collection of 3, 4 or 5 sided flat polygons. These were put together like a 3D jigsaw puzzle. Therefore, the number of vertices per polygon, and the total number of polygons was very low.

Software engineer Peter Jacobson has modeled a simplified FMC for ease of flying this new aircraft.

FSX Abacus Mission Combat Force

In March 2007, we launched the first title of our new Mission: Series featuring full-length, challenging flight adventures. Mission: Blackhawk has been a bestseller ever since.
As a follow on, developers Ron Jeffers and Phil Castellanos have teamed up with Dave Eckert and Frank King to produce our second title in the series. Mission: Combat Force is sure to keep you rivited to your cockpit seat.

FSX [GODZONE] REAL NEW ZEALAND MARLBOROUGH (Reloaded)
Marlborough is located at the north-eastern tip of the South Island of New Zealand. It is made up of two distinctive geographical areas: the Sounds, a drowned mountain range which now forms a fjord-like series of bays and inlets, much of which is still clad with native bush. This is the idea holiday spot for those who love the water.
The Warua/Awatere plains area is the country's most successful viticulture area, producing a huge amount of quality wine with a world-wide reputation.
For us aviation folks, there is a lot here to keep us happy. The city of Blenheim is home to Woodbourne, partly an RNZAF base and partly Blenheim Regional Airport, and Omaka Aerodrome, the home of the Classic Fighters Collection, and the Aviation Heritage Museum. It also hosts the bi-annual Classic Fighters airshow.
There's plenty to explore around the Sounds, and a good starting point is Picton Harbour. This is the southern terminal of the Cook Strait Ferry service, which bridges the North and South Islands. You can take a scenic float plane fight from Picton Harbour, exploring the Sounds. There's also Picton Airport, located at Koromiko, where Sounds Air operate a number of daily flights to Wellington, Auckland and Christ church.
The photoreal coverage is shown here. This is the perfect complement to Real New Zealand Wellington, which adjoins the scenery area across Cook Strait. (You can see the beginnings of Wellington at the right edge.)
Real New Zealand Marlborough is the fifth Real NZ scenery release for FS2004, and the first for FSX. The scenery is made up of a large area of aerial photo textures, plus some highly detailed airports and other features. Woodbourne RNZAF Base, which is used as the local regional airport, is modelled in detail, but the main feature is Omaka Aerodrome, which represents my major aviation love, historic warbirds, and has therefore been pain-stakingly recreated to a very high standard.
Picton Airport represents the typical tiny tourism-supported airfield in New Zealand, in a very picturesque valley on the way to Picton Harbour. Sure, there's only a couple of buildings there, but it is such a lovely spot to fly to and from.
There's also a model of the Ferry Terminal at Picton, and the float-plane base.
FSX Version Notes:Service Pack 1, the recent update to FSX, is required. The photo aerial textures are twice the resolution of FS2004, at 2.5 metres per pixel.

The A-10 Warthog is an aircraft that captured the imagination of many people for its strange ability to awe people. Of course the 30 mm cannon that is the heart of the aircraft has a lot to do with it, there is just no other aircraft that carries something that even comes close. FSX Nemeth Designs Eurocopter EC-135
Eurocopter's EC 135 is a very powerful lightweight twin-engine multipurpose helicopter and is operational worldwide. Over 600 have been delivered since the helicopter entered service in 1996 and the helicopter is flown by over 100 customers in 27 countries.
The helicopter incorporates Eurocopter's low-noise patented Fenestron tail rotor. The array of ten blades in the Fenestron are arranged asymmetrically and are spaced at different intervals which substantially reduces the helicopter noise.
The standard version carries the pilot and six or seven passengers. The VIP / executive version is fitted for four or five VIP passengers. The cabin is fitted with large sliding doors for easy boarding and exit. The Emergency Medical Service helicopter can be flown by one or two pilots. The helicopter can carry one or two stretcher patients and up to three doctors and medical attendants. Different medical installations are tailored to the operating organisation's need.
Eurocopter offers a choice of two engine types for the EC 135, both types equipped with Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC). The FADEC system provides enhanced performance, engine protection and power plant monitoring. The engines available are the Turbomeca Arrius 2B (T) and the Pratt and Whitney Canada PW206B (P).Nemeth Designs EC-135 package includes three variants:
- Emergency Medical Service (T1)
- Passenger Transport (P1)
- VIP (T1)

Aircraft Management Tools - Ultimate Traffic includes tools to allow users to manage their AI Traffic library by adding, deleting, and assigning aircraft types with full airline and call sign assignment support.
Printable Timetables - Ultimate Traffic also provides users with printable airline timetables and the ability to print airport-specific timetables of the AI traffic that are included in the package. These printouts are designed to resemble the timetables that you can find at your local airport, for your favorite airline.
Community Packager - Another utility that is included is a new tool that will allow members of the flight simulator community to share their repaints directly with other Ultimate Traffic users. Flight One thanks those who support our products by providing additional repaints for other flight sim users and has included an easy tool for those who wish to share their work with others. The created packages are available for download to fellow users using the Online Updater tool.

This scenery was started to fully explore the new options of FSX and with the task create the most realistic small scenery possible. A lot of experimenting was done to find the best way to use the options of FSX and although compromises had to be accepted the resulting scenery is the most detailed we have ever released. It redefines photo realistic scenery. The features speak for themselves but the screenshots tell the real story. They show the loving attention and professional quality that went into this product.

It has a rich and varied history but they might still be unknown to many people. Don't let this distract you from taking a look at this scenery because you will see some things you have not yet seen before. In this way this scenery is a lot like Lukla - Mt Everest (done by the same developer) that many people bought to see what was possible at that time.
Not only does this scenery represent the 'state of the art' in scenery design, it also offer the sim pilot a chance to practice his pilot skills. Although there are two runways, so cross wind isn't your main problem, landing at Helgoland is only permitted for pilots with 100 hours under their belt and only when they have short runway experience. Add to these small runways the dunes that forever seem to get higher and closer to the threshold and you got an airport where every landing is a dangerous one. Of course landing on the moving frigate is a challenge that one serious helicopter pilots can handle.
Two missions are included. The first is a short flight with some tourists over the islands to let you get acquainted with the scenery, entertaining but not very challenging. The second is a serious rescue mission that is extreme in weather and tasks. Don't expect to walk away with your mission success medal on your first attempt. The missions come with graphics and extensive and professional sound files. Aerosoft feels that missions should be a part of nearly any product at this moment in time.
Technical limitations for the FS2004 version:

FS2004 Captain Keith (SANDSPIT AIRPORT)
Sandspit Airport in the Queen Charlotte Island chain of British Columbia is one of the most popular and yet often forgotten airports in North America. This area is truly breathtaking, where natural beauty abounds and blossoms with each passing season. Using satellite images, maps and photographs, we have done our best to try to capture the overall feel of the area. From the very detailed and unique terminal building to animated “birds in flight” and Orca whales splashing about just off the coastline, we have done our best to bring you a taste of what the next generation of flight simulation scenery will offer.
Sandspit Airport is also one of the most popular stopover airfields in the area. Many pilots choose Sandspit as a refueling stop while making a long trip from the mainland U.S. to Alaska. In this release we have included not only Sandspit Airport but also Masset Municipal, which lies about 50 miles to the north, as well as a private cabin known as “Mr. Frank’s Place” complete with a seaplane dock located in the Masset Inlet, about halfway between Sandspit and Masset. Other scenery extras include custom AI traffic, including an Air Canada Dash-8 - that represents the official commercial airline and aircraft that flies into Sandspit daily - and a Coastal Pacific private charter Grumman Goose at Masset.
So, weather you are just stopping in for fuel and a cup of coffee, or you are planning to do some sightseeing in the area, Sandspit will not disappoint you.
